The Veranda at Auburn Pointe includes serveral community amenities, i.e. Community Room, On-site laundry on every floor, Game / Recreation Room, Covered Porch, Equipped Exercise Room, Equipped Computer Room, Furnished sitting areas by elevators, Equipped Walking Trails, Covered pavilion with barbeque facilities, Movie Theater and a Wellness Center.
The Veranda’s at Auburn Pointe has been designed to meet certification through the EarthCraft Multifamily Program for 2006 IECC Climate Zone 3 – Mixed Humid Climate. The EarthCraft Multifamily Program is sponsored by the Southface Energy Institute. Through the EarthCraft Multifamily certification process, they also earned an ENERGY STAR certification, by meeting strict energy efficiency criteria in the planning, construction, and operational phases.
The Veranda at Auburn Pointe uses resource efficient design and building materials, careful construction waste management and recycling, and energy efficient building envelopes and systems to lower the environmental impact of construction and to reduce the resource consumption by residents. In addition, The Veranda at Auburn Pointe will use photovoltaic solar panels where feasible to provide common area electricity.
