These resort destination developments incorporate condominiums, villas, recreational amenities such as golf courses, and marinas, and are anchored by one or more hotels. However, unlike other resort developments, this model incorporates a strategy to effect meaningful and sustainable growth in the local economy and locally-owned businesses.
