Integral is on the forefront of sustainable development, having implemented many successful public-private partnerships that have resulted in the creation of sustainable mixed income, mixed-use communities across the United States. 

Its “Sustainable Development Model” is comprised of two (2) essential components – Renaissance 20/20, an approach to community sustainability that is achieved through the mix of uses that integrate physical development, economic diversity and human transformation, and Integral Green, an environmental sustainability strategy that responds to the need for responsible stewardship of our environmental resources.

The company is utilizing its sustainable development model in developing planned communities and stand alone development projects, as follows:

Urban Neighborhood Revitalization Projects

Consistent with all of the best principles of holistic community development and revitalization, the company has successfully created large scale urban mixed-use, mixed-income communities in many US markets.  Some of these communities have served as national models that have been emulated across the country by the broader real estate development community.

Multi-Family For-Sale Residences and Multi-Family Rental developments

The company developes condominiums, for-sale townhome developments and highly amenitized and appointed low to mid density multi-family apartment developments (under the “Ashley” brand) as stand-alone projects, or as components of larger mixed-use or planned developments, utilizing green building practices such as EarthCraft® and EnergyStar®.

Senior Housing - Assisted Living Residences and Independent Living Communities (The "Veranda")

The company developes assisted senior living residences and independent living communiities (under the "Veranda" brand) as stand-alone projects, or as components of larger mixed-use or planned developments, utilizing green building practices such as EarthCraft® and EnergyStar®

Resort Anchored Mixed-Use Communities

Building on the core principles embodied in the Renaissance 20/20 and Integral Green components, the company is engaged in the development of resort-anchored mixed-use communities in the Caribbean. These resort destination developments incorporate condominiums, villas, recreational amenities such as golf courses, and marinas, and are anchored by one or more hotels. However, unlike other resort developments, this model incorporates a strategy to effect meaningful and sustainable growth in the local economy and locally-owned businesses.
