The transformational process offered by the Human Development Division typically includes three phases:
Front End Assessment and Analysis
This involves evaluation of the current condition to determine what is required for positive human transformation. Assessment services:
- Provide a detailed account of the sociology of the population
- Give insight into potential opportunities
- Identify barriers that need to be eliminated in order to achieve success
- Serve as the framework for development of service recommendations
Program Implementation and Monitoring
Programs are customized with strategies that are designed to:
- Identify program goals and objectives
- Evaluate existing strategies and techniques
- Implement new methods
- Establish systematic measurements
- Develop an electronic data tracking system
Back End Assessment and Analysis
A client-based approach is established to ensure lasting results in the area of human development. The family support approach will:
- Conduct one-on-one counseling /coaching sessions in the home, school or other locations convenient to the client
- Deliver programs and services tailored to meet the clients where they are socially, mentally and developmentally
Support is provided by a well trained Family Support Coordinator (FSC) who acts as a coach to:
- Provide basic motivation and life skills
- Introduce education, training, and employment opportunities
- Encourage career development and increased employability
- Promote entrepreneurship promotion
- Communicate community and family responsibilities
- Make disability support connections
- Advocate youth education and character building
- Foster senior health and recreation
