The transformational process offered by the Human Development Division typically includes three phases:

Front End Assessment and Analysis

This involves evaluation of the current condition to determine what is required for positive human transformation. Assessment services:

  • Give insight into potential opportunities
  • Identify barriers that need to be eliminated in order to achieve success
  • Serve as the framework for development of service recommendations

Program Implementation and Monitoring

Programs are customized with strategies that are designed to:
  • Identify program goals and objectives
  • Evaluate existing strategies and techniques
  • Implement new methods
  • Establish systematic measurements
  • Develop an electronic data tracking system

Back End Assessment and Analysis

A client-based approach is established to ensure lasting results in the area of human development. The family support approach will:
  • Conduct one-on-one counseling /coaching sessions in the home, school or other locations convenient to the client
  • Deliver programs and services tailored to meet the clients where they are socially, mentally and developmentally

Support is provided by a well trained Family Support Coordinator (FSC) who acts as a coach to:

  • Introduce education, training, and employment opportunities
  • Encourage career development and increased employability
  • Promote entrepreneurship promotion
  • Communicate community and family responsibilities
  • Make disability support connections
  • Advocate youth education and character building
